A software developer who enjoys working with Python, JavaScript, and Lisp.

I have a somewhat unconventional background. I studied environmental engineering first, followed by computer science and data science. Before becoming a developer, I worked at a civil engineering firm on hydraulic and hydrologic modeling and the design of water and sewer systems.

I aim to:

• Support the communities I am part of through technology and build meaningful connections by sharing what I have learned.
• Embrace creativity and develop the ability to see the world from new perspectives.

I try to keep these goals in mind and continue learning as I work toward them.

Some of the things I have done along the way include:

• Volunteering to build and maintain websites for nonprofit organizations.
• Contributing translations to several open-source projects, including W3C documentation.
• Developing and releasing open-source software.
• Building web applications and automation tools while continuing to explore new technologies and solve practical problems.
